Password Policy
In keeping with the latest circulars and
guidelines from NSE and BSE, the
password policy for client passwords on
the Internet trading terminal of
InvestSmart online has been made more
stringent. The new policy shall require.

The client id
and password should not be the same
-
The new password
cannot be the same as the previous
password.
-
The password
should be a minimum of 8 characters.
-
The password is
required to contain a mix of numbers
(0-9) and alphabets (A-Z/a-z) .

Password should
not contain white spaces, single
quote( ' )and double quote( " )
-
Login and
transaction password shall not be
allowed to be the same.
-
The trading
password will expire every 15 days.
-
The trading
password will get locked if the
password is not entered correctly 3
times consecutively.
